OUR STORY

THE PAUL MICHEL FAMILY STORY

Since 1847, the Michel family has been cultivating vines with passion in the Côte des Blancs — the historic heart of Chardonnay.

The story of the House began with Paul Michel, a visionary founder who settled in Cuis after his marriage. He decided to craft his own Champagne and released his first cuvées in 1952.

Since then, each generation has carried forward the same devotion: expressing the elegance of Chardonnay through authentic and refined Champagnes.

THE STORY CONTINUES

With Denis, the second generation carried the adventure forward, expanding the vineyard with new plots and strengthening the estate’s identity — wines of purity, precision, and character.

In 2014, Geoffroy joined the estate, succeeding his uncle Philippe. He took charge of the vines and joined his father in shaping the wines.

Today, Champagne Paul Michel produces over 100,000 bottles, enjoyed both in France and around the world — by wine merchants and at fine dining tables alike. Geoffroy and Denis remain driven by the same pursuit of excellence that defines the family spirit.
